We are excited to join Brooklyn Community Services and IDCC for the 3rd Annual "Shower in the City." This will be our second year participating in the event. By participating we can distribute much-needed clothing and resources to individuals suffering from housing insecurity in Brooklyn. Last year we saw many people take advantage of the opportunity to take a fresh shower and change into clean clothing immediately after. We witnessed how rejuvenated they appeared and the positive effect that our contribution had on them. We hope that this year we will serve more families in need, and ensure that these brand-new clothing items go to those who will benefit from them the most.
We are still accepting donations for this event. Please email us or give us a callto inquire about how you can help us make this event an even greater success.
When Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Rey designated August 16th as “Maino Day,” Maino decided to celebrate this day with the purpose of service and community give-back. He wants to take this chance to empower the youth to avoid making the same mistake he did when he was young. Maino thus teamed up with us and other organizations to organize a fun-filled day with games, prizes, and giveaways. We will be giving away 200 bookbags filled with school supplies for kids in elementary, middle, and high school. This event is set to spark inspiration and support among students in Brooklyn, providing them with essential back-to-school supplies to kickstart their academic year. Families are encouraged to join us for a day of joy and preparation for the upcoming school year. We will disclose the address of the event sometime during the month of July.
We Need Your Support!

"A Christmas Experience" is an annual Christmas party for children ages 0-17 in Metro Atlanta. We hope that anyone in need of extra joy in their holiday season joins us for this extravaganza. We provide food, beverages, games, a Santa to take pictures, a photo booth, prizes, music, and much more. We want to thank Zoar United Methodist Church in Snellville, GA for allowing us to host our event again. The address of the event is 3895 Zoar Church Rd SW, Snellville, GA 30039, and the event will be in the gymnasium. Thanks to one of our donors, Toys for Tots, we can continue to expand on this event every year. We wish to provide these children with toys, electronics, and clothing that will allow them to enjoy their holiday season to the fullest. This isn’t just about giving away toys but creating happy memories that these children will hold dear in their hearts. Since this is a party meant for the children to enjoy, gifts will not be distributed until you leave. We hope that your family will come out this year to enjoy our wonderful party with us. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT AT THE EVENT TO RECEIVE A GIFT. NO ONE CAN PICK UP A GIFT FOR ANYONE WHO IS NOT AT THE EVENT. The Eventbrite page where you can register your children for the event will be available in early October 2024, and can only be found on our website. Due to the volume of requests we receive for toys, we can only guarantee toys for families that RSVPed on our Eventbrite.
