Power of Millennials Upcoming Events & Projects

School Expansion Project at Christ Vision Academy in Accra, Ghana | 2024

Power of Millennials was started by a family that has always believed in giving back together. During our second visit to Ghana, we met with the director of Christ Vision Academy, a school with 234 students. We decided to commence a project where we will rebuild and expand the entire school to create a second story. The teachers and staff are doing an excellent job of educating these students, but the school's director expressed a great desire to accept more students. Unfortunately, he has had to turn them away due to their lack of space and resources. This school educates children ages 2-14. We met some of the students in June, and we were able to witness firsthand how life-changing the education they receive is. As of now we are almost finished completing the first level. We still have to complete the second level which will be the portion of the project that expands the school and allows them to accept over 200 more students. This will be one of our ongoing projects for 2024 and 2025, and we appreciate any support or donations you can provide us. Thank you in advance for your support. At the beginning of the project, you can see how the existing school needed drastic improvements. In the most recent picture, you can see that the project is coming along well, and will have a substantial impact on the students.

"A Christmas Experience," on December 21st, 2024 2pm-6pm in Snellville, GA (Metro Atlanta)
RSVP TO GUARANTEE GIFTS

"A Christmas Experience" is an annual Christmas party for children ages 0-17 in Metro Atlanta. We hope that anyone in need of extra joy in their holiday season joins us for this extravaganza. We provide food, beverages, games, a Santa to take pictures, a photo booth, prizes, music, and much more. We want to thank Zoar United Methodist Church in Snellville, GA for allowing us to host our event again. The address of the event is 3895 Zoar Church Rd SW, Snellville, GA 30039, and the event will be in the gymnasium. Thanks to one of our donors, Toys for Tots, we can continue to expand on this event every year. We wish to provide these children with toys, electronics, and clothing that will allow them to enjoy their holiday season to the fullest. This isn’t just about giving away toys but creating happy memories that these children will hold dear in their hearts. Since this is a party meant for the children to enjoy, gifts will not be distributed until you leave. We hope that your family will come out this year to enjoy our wonderful party with us. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT AT THE EVENT TO RECEIVE A GIFT. NO ONE CAN PICK UP A GIFT FOR ANYONE WHO IS NOT AT THE EVENT. The Eventbrite page where you can register your children for the event will be available in early October 2024, and can only be found on our website. Due to the volume of requests we receive for toys, we can only guarantee toys for families that RSVPed on our Eventbrite.
